Nice. I enjoyed this very much.

I've only seen the film adaptation of BJD, but I think you got this characterisation spot on. Also the tone of the piece, and the language used were very well suited and in keeping with the style of the original. In my opinion, this makes the story far more believable: it slips into the mind with a caress.

Added to my recommended reading list.

Some things I liked in this story, others I did not. Let my start with saying the ending is beautiful. Upon refection I think it's a beautiful story as such, but my reserve is that I don't picture the characters to be the way you do; especially Mark. Always the bottom? Why? And also, I'm a sucker for happy endings.

VERY nice! I also found these two fascinating. I just joined, and yours was the first thing I read. I have a tiny comedy BJD bit that I'll post soon--the birthday/fight from Tom's POV, with a twist. But I have to say that not only was this well written, but you managed to capture the characters beautifully in a very short space. I was happy to see the TBC at the bottom. Rather than making me groan in frustration, I gave a happy sigh of anticipation.
