usually when i read a good story, i think, "wow" or "i wish i'da thought of that" or "great story" or "they sure can write." But in the case of this story and all of this story flameboi's others, i say all those things while at the same time feeling just a tiny bit jelous! a great author with great tastes in movies/books/music, what can i say?
you write with personality, not just bland explanations like other stories....well done, once again, flameboi, well done.

Whooo, I'm glad I had the sudden urge to read some good ol' Labyrinth slash. This was brilliant. A fabulous wel well done. I envy those with a talent for writing, because although I could most likely pull off something half-decent, rarely do I find myself with the motivn. n. This made my night, thanks! :3

Brilliant idea to use Toby - I never thought of it myself, but the way you do it it seems perfectly logical. I like the way you portray Toby as a teenager and his sister as a grown-up - it makes sense that his experiences left Toby different.
The suicide... truth be told, that can be painfull to read for someone who had to loose somebody that way, because you write it so realistically. I really think a warning would be a good idea.
Toby and the goblin king - what can I say, red hot, and that mixture of cruelty and generosity and selfishness and dishonesty in Jareth is just right.
In my mind, this screams out for a second chapter; I can just imagine how Toby's sister could get back into Jareth's realm and I'm just saying Persephone as for a possible ending.
Oh, and of course the "I wish I could see them" is very reminiscent of Beauty, the Beast and the mirrow. But it makes sense and belongs there, and paralells can never be quite avoided.
If any amount of blatant flattery could persuade you to write more of this, I'll be happy to supit. it.
