As far as POTC-based smut fics go, I must admit that yours is probably the best I have ever encountered. The characterization was fairly accurate (I’ll talk about the rough spots later) and the erotica, though repetitive at times, was a lot better than most.
But as a true portrayal of the characters and story, this one fails to deliver.
First off: Jack would never own a slave. You see, the reason Jack became the Captain of the Black Pearl was because the Black Pearl was once known as the Wicked Wench. The Wench was a merchant ship for the East Indian Trading Company under Lord Beckett, and Jack (born in colonial India) was it’s captain.
Everything was all well and good until Beckett decided to use the Wench for slave running (taking slaves from Africa and transporting them back to the colonies). Jack refused to transport slaves and instead freed them in Africa. After that Beckett ordered the sinking of the Wicked Wench, and branded Jack Sparrow a pirate. Jack came to embrace his outlaw status, becoming a successful pirate with no desire to return to life under the command of others. Later, Jack petitioned Davy Jones to raise his ship from the ocean floor. He rechristened her the Black Pearl.
So that blows away all credibility that Jack would sell slaves or take Will as one. If anything, Jack is against slavery and believes all men should be free.
Secondly: While I did enjoy your ideas on Will’s transformation (though, I doubt merely getting into kinkier sex is really all that life-altering), I was very disturbed by Jack’s mentality in this fic. He’s a frightening ball of dark memories; selfish needs; and he's downright cruel and abusive to Will. I don’t believe Jack would ever be so horrible to anyone. In the movies he is self-serving ,yes, but at times he is damn near altruistic and I don’t think he has it in him to hurt someone who didn’t wholly deserve it. And William certainly doesn’t deserve his cruelty.

I don't remember if I've reviewed this story but I've been a fan of it for a long time. You are an amazing writer and I have to say this is one of the best fanfictions I've ever read. You are amazing and I had to let you know. Great job.

It's been *so* long since I've last read this. Wow. One of my favorites from POTC's hit time...loved it then, adore it now...such a delicious fic.

i must say i do not review peoples stories very often, but yours has definetly caught my eye and i would like to say thank you.
