Excellent description of Will's drugged state. Lots to like in this story. My favorite line was r onr once in his life James will become a pirate with the all the role’s attendant morals."

And I really liked your characterization of Norrington, how he's more worried about the spontenaity of his actions than any moral or legal transgression.

Usually I tend to dislike fics written in any tense, but in this case the tense choice really added well to the drugged sense of the situation. I like it.
