Quite possibly the most brutal and qrotesque story I've ever read. But somehow, I loved it and will continue loving it as long as you update soon! At first, the first couple of chapters, I couldn't understand the plot at all due to its many 'obscure' words and I thought this story was gonna be one of those: Will gets raped and Jack heals him mentally and physically by offering Will a night of hot and steamy sex. (I have NO idea HOW that helps after one has been hurt sexually, but no matter.) But no, your story takes on this typical story line above and beyond by very strong characterization while managing to stay IN-character COMPLETELY and nonstop event-by-event plot, which urges the reader to continue reading and reading until this turmoil that we seem to relate/connect with Will is subdued. I could probably go on and on about why this particular work is great, but I'm afraid this site might overload...anyways, I cannot wait for the next chapter, which I KNOW is going to be just as splendid as before. P.S. I especially like your use of foreshadowing! And, truth be told, I don't mind AT ALL that you use so many difficult words. It actually helps me from getting lazy because I keep looking all the words up in the online dictionary and I love to read too, which gives me quite a bigger vocabuary then my fellow peers! Keep on writing, Lee.

ahh.. so long with out an update... why is it i always find the good stories after they've been let go....
i've spend the better part of the night in front of the computer, skimming through any a horrid fics, but i must say, that this one had my undivided attention from start to finish. you have a wonderful gift for words, and alot of creativity, and if i wasn't in need of sleep, i'm sure i could write so much more back in responce.

So far this has been an absorbing story. While the foreshadowing feels fairly clear, there is still enough tension to leave me wondering just what we will find out when all Will's secrets are exposed. Please right more.

You writing style is wonderful, took me a long time to find this story again after I lost it the last time I tried to search for it. Keep up the good work and high standards you have set for it!

I like this. It doesn't sugarcoat the fact that Pirates weren't nice happy-go-lucky guys all the time. The disney version was nice and great, (god, Jonny Depp is HOT!!!) I like the detail and thought. It's got just the right amount of gore, horror, torture and compassion to make everything alright. I really want to read more of this story.

oh, don't tell me you're stopping it there. I just stumbled across this and I need to see more. It's a dark story, I'll grant you that, but it's not overly gory and when it is getting to be desturbing, it's easy enough to see where the violence is necessary. I want to see more, please? You have me completely hooked.

How can you leave it there?!?!?! Please please PLEASE update soon - before I go crazy. I have to know what happens to poor old Will.

It's a shame that this story is no longer updated. IMO, it's the best story in this category. I'm not losing hope for an update. *crosses fingers*
