This was utterly dark and fantastic - but oh so true to character in my opinion.

Anakin's jealousy, his wild accusations; his thought processes and eventual actions were very believable... even his lack of remorse at having forced Padme's hand to claim her was totally within his character, in my opinion. The darkness inherent in him is so well fleshed out. Obsessive love is what this portrays and it's superbly done.

Padme's reactions to Anakin, especially when she questions if Anakin would have stopped had she told him to - and doesn't honestly believe him [implied though it was] - was very well done.

Additionally, experienced and darkly purposeful Anakin is hot; not giving Padme a chance to surrender is totally characteristic of what we've seen of him elsewhere.

You did a great job with this; an excellent read!

...wow. I was instantly entrhalled by the beautiful trapestry of your words... only to be jogged and twisted by the complete passion and aching need by the characters, Anakin in particular. I am completely amazed. You have captured the Anakin we all see when we close our eyes; you have made him human. And so I repeat: ...wow.

...he reminds me of my boyfriend, actually, in this fic. Not so ragingly hormonal, but stubborn and dark and growly in sex, and possessive. Extremely possessive. "MINE. *THRUSTTHRUSTTHRUST* *Puu~~~rrr~~~*"

There is a part missing, I'm sure there is a part missing. I want to know too what he wanted to do with her in this dress!!!! Imagination is not enough, ...maybe it is, but I would have prefer to read it.

To Jedinight85: I do understand what you're saying and I have to admit I never thought of it that way before. However, I believe that 'gods' is a generic oath/exclamation rather than a religious one for Anakin. But having said that, he is also unique and he doesn't always follow the Jedi Code. And when you consider the fact that he spent the first 10 years of his life outside the Temple, I think you have a person who mutters 'gods'! the same way people say 'Oh great'!, etc. because it's a habit from childhood. The term 'gods' is really a fandom creation and I believe that it is appropriate for the SW universe. I am a canon freak so I try my utmost to stay within the SW universe at all times. I very carefully choose my words and avoid earth slang because I think it jarrs the reader out of the story. Besides, when a person is having sex or comtemplating the love of their life, they don't say stuff like 'Force'! or 'Sith'! or if they do, it sounds inappropriate to the situation. So I'm going to stick with it as a habit that Anakin just can't shake :-)
