Okay, yeah, I'm sounding like a fangirl at this point. Jack's history is so sad, and I love how it's integrated with the other stories you've told about him and Norrington. Somehow the ending wasnt tragic, it was victorious. Cheated the Hangman indeed.

Oh, Im crying. I am glad that the commodore finally had some fun, however. I gues tho thought that he should die with the pirates? why else would he not want them to know who he was? ruin the reputation of Commodore Norrington I suppose. Then they all escaped. But the Pearl was blown up. *sob* I didn't get it that Jack was in jail, though I did wonder about it when he leangaingainst the wall to sleep. very very well done aat the end. very, when the kid hears him fall off of the bench---and goes back and the sparrow has cheated the noose once again. very good noose, that is. hee hee

*big grin* I loved it! (I read the whole thing) I noticed that you didn't have many reviews. It's a wonderful story and very well written.
