It's been a while since I saw the movie, but I could see the character of Maximus when I was reading your story. I really liked it, it was hot but bittersweet too. Thanks for writing it.

very nice! i like the way you resolved the moral conflict maximus had about his wife. and that play on the word maximus was so funny!

oooh!! that was so well written! you know how to create a convincing setting and plot, and depict realistic, well rounded characters- you have maximus perfectly! moody, sullen, pained by his memories, but also slightly mischievous and of course a hunka chunka burnin love *swoon* what i wouldnt give to be sabina...
favourite line:
