first, i like the idea of this story, giving him a second chance and all that, and the overall plot is wonderful. also - do you live where you placed this, cause if so... YAY SOMEONE ELSE IN WA ON THIS SITE~! this reminds me that i have a story i should post on here that's placed near Puyallup...

This is great! I love the interactions--not too snarkish, not too gentle. I'm eager to see how they relate, both being in the service and all. What a surprise THAT'S going to be for our Tavington!

As much as I generally dislike het stories, yours is fairly good! I had some suspicions about Tavington's behaviour towards the beginning, but I suppose being brought back to life will make one a little more docile, at least for a while.
We both incorperate Lucius Malfoy into our stories. XD Except that you only mention him while I reincarnate him into the body of a Green Dragoon and then mess with his personality to the nth degree. Anyway, that did amuse me. Tavington is definatly in character in your story, and I thank you for that.
The one thing (and I'm such a stickler for the behavior of English gentleman, so I WOULD notice this *rolls eyes*) that bothers me is that you have William say "I don't rightly know" twice. No gentleman, at least no English gentleman, would ever speak like that. That's something that an American colonist might say, sure, but not William Tavington.
I do look forward to more of your story.

Hey, this story is fun! I couldn't help but laugh when Tavington tried to shoo Gus the cat. Teehee. And the crossreverence to Lucius Malfoy, I'd like more of that *^_^* I'm curious how the two will get along together...
