Ok, I guess I should have read the chapter, "Past and Present" before I decided to review your story's ending? THANKS for this happy ending, I loved Mort to much to see his life end so tragically. I like both endings. Your sad one was good and seems more like a real ending that you would have in a novel or at the end of a movie, just because it was so unexpected. But for someone like me that had liked Mort, even at the end of the movie "secret window", and fell totally in love with him because of the way you wrote him in your story, it was just to heartbreaking. I've just grown to attach to this story and your characterization of Mort, that I could'nt bare to see it end like that, even if it was an interesting ending from a readers point of view. I like having both endings to choose from. Like I've said before and will say again, GOOD JOB!!!!

OMG! I LOVE this story! I feel really bad about not having reviewed until the end, but I mostly just have time to read the latest updates and then sign off, but now I have time. This is a fouslouslly well-written story. The characters are very believable and I absolutely love Alex and Julia. I hope that you keep writing fan-fiction, you are very good at it! Maybe a sequel to this one?! (wink, wink):). Again, a wonderful story and I really enjoyed reading it!

OHHH! So Sweet! (wiping tears away) Alex is a great women for being so supportive. I'd like to think I would be undendinnding too, but that's a scary thing to hear the person you love is hearing voices and seeing people that aren't there. That's a situation I doubt I could handle even if the guy looked like Johnny Depp. What am I saying???? I must of went a little crazy myself, to say that! If he looked like Johnny Depp, I would'nt leave him even after I found out he's a psychopath. Let's face it, if I'm going die it might as well be at the hands of someone as captivating as Johnny! (Laughs) But seriously, is Mort going to remember about killing his wife and if he does is going to tell Alex? I mean she's supportive now but it's a whole different story when you find out your lover is a murder, wheiter he was mentally unstable at the time or not. WOW!!! ALEX PREGNANT!!!! I knew it, from the moment Karen said Alex had a doctor's appointment. This story is great!!! I just hope Shooter doesn't come and ruin it but of course that's drama and what would a story be without that. But the real question is the baby, who's the father Mort or Shooter?(smile) Oh, can't wait to see your next chapter, I'm totally getting addicted tor str story!(clapping and chanting) I need more!, I need more! God, I've become a complete junkie of Johnny related fanfiction, especially this one!!! Don't stop, please update soon. I know good things come for those who wait but I hate being left on pins and needles!

EEEEEEEEEE! This is just getting better n' better! Shooter is acting all cool now.. I hated him in the movie, maybe just 'cause whenever I saw him all I could think was 'Sneaky, sneaky Sir" or something... whatever. I like him in this. Even though I don't like the idea of him hurting Alex. I like her. (How many times do I have to say that?)

I just found your story the other night and was very impressed by it! I read all 34 chapters in one night and didn't get finish with it until three o'clock in the morning. It was so good, I did not want to stop until I read everything you had up. I'm a huge fan of the movie "Secret Window", I saw it four times but then I'm a huge fan of anything that has Johnny Depp in it. Though I love to read fan fiction, the thought never occured to me to look for "Secret Window" fan fiction. The movie was great but the ending left little to elobrate on or at least that's what I thought until I read your story. I'm one of those crazy people that really liked Mort Rainey even after I found out that he's an insane murderer. Because I think deep down he's a good guy that just needs medication. I guess that's why I like your story so much because your showing the good person that he is and wants to be, but at the same time showing the dangerous side he can't control.on'on't think your story is chessy, it's really entertaining and I can't wait to read more, so please update soon! P.S I think it was a very clever idea to have all three parts of Mort's mind in the story, it add so much more to it!
