I almost never read slash and I just picked this up at total random... and I'm glad I did. It's befullfully dojustjust beautiful. You keep the characters in character during sex, something I really appreciate. Will's a bit naive but no child; Jack is goofy and lackadaisical but he does have a heart. Pity it's all a daydream, but, well, Will probably wouldn't anyway. Thought I think the fact that Jack's done it with guys before, and would again in a hot minute, is so well established in subtext that we can consider it canon. And in that case, thank you for honorinnon non yet again.
And it is hot. It's hot without being icky, which is saying even more--somehow the characters manage to keep their dignity even when they're spurting come all over each other. And they're both very much MEN, which is another point for you--girly bottoms are one of the main reasons I don't read much slash. That's the greatest thing about this fic--they stay exactly who they are, very much the Will and Jack we know, throughout the scene. And that really is an accomplishment.
And you're doing great with the period accuracy--the clothing was spot-on. I was going to take you to task for having Jack say "cock," but apparently the word dates to 1618 so you're cool there. "Dick" probably dates to the 16th century so that works too. And I thought "ass" in a non-donkey sense was wrong, but it turns out that goes all the way back to Shakespeare--though Jack probably would pronounce it "arse." Even "come" is legitimate period language. "Heterosexual," however, is from 1892, far too late, and wouldn't haven uen used by a scurvy sea-dog anyway... "fairy," "fag"/"faggot," "queen," or "nancy." None of which sound very nice to modern ears, but people really didn't talk politely about that sort of thing until very recently. "Sexy" is also inaccurate--it only started in 1952.
And that's your historical etymology lesson for the day. I have no idea why I just did that much research just to review a stranger's PWP. But it's kind of fun to find out that all these things I always thought were modern slang are actually hundreds of years old.

amazing story. i was, of course, a tad disappointed that it was a daydream...for personal reasons, i suppose, but in the story, it just worked so well. and it was wonderful reading a smutty story done with class. most smut stories consist of "i want you inside of me, you hot manwhore." "oh baby, oh baby." "they came together in a flash of hottness, b/c it was perfect." and this was...a pwp, with great writing. wonderful work. you made me blush, which is hard to do. so, awesome job!

Bless you, dear. J/W is my favourite pairing in the universe-- aside from Legolas/Aragorn-- and I'm running on siurs urs sleep and it just made me *so happy* to read this pairing again. It's been quite a while; I've been lost in otfandfandoms and I don't even know if I *can* write J/W anymore. Thank you.
The smut was amazing; so very descriptive. I could certainly learn a few lessons from yot wat was also unusual with Jack being bottom for a change-- usually I read, write (and prefer) Jack being on top, but in this particular story it was just perfect. I also tend to shy away from fics in the first person, though that's just because I'm too used to third person. That will change, and it has started here. *shakes your hand*
