I was so excited when I saw you'd updated this story. I truely have enjoyed reading the first story and this one in turn. The fact that Jack has been adopted by the king is an interesting turn of events. I truely would like to see how he takes the news. . .And I think I want to get a little more of a introduction to Jack's son.

Keep up the good work.

If you post your stories elsewhere to get more reviews, may I please ask you to leave them here as well? Some of us like to read them over and over again. (*blush*)
And please continue this one! "Royal Jack" stories are always nice and now I'm curious what you have planned for him.

So far, very cool. I usually dont read 10 chapters of a story with no slash, so that's a compliment. (hey, i read the prequel too, so that's 22 chapters with no slash. I must be impressed, yes?)

Anyways, I love what you've done with the story. So many fanfic writiers in the PotC fandom seem afraid to make changes to the characters lives. It's good to see you have the courage to project what they could potentially become.

Keep up the good work. You are appreciated.

Finally, someone got around to chastising that officious little smarmalade Gillette! Oh, I've seen him humanized here and there, made sympathetic as Groves' lover or what have you. But the evil vindictive grin satisfies my facial muscles so much more than the pitying half-smile, don't you know.

Cliffhangers are all very well, in principle. But this story has tangled so many characters, so deftly, that if you don't get to the dénouement I shall be very disappointed indeed. Keep those plot ferrets breeding, savvy?

Hey!

I love your story I just wish you'd update more often.
But there's one thing I don't understand. In Chapter 9 you said Lawrence was Raymond's son and in the 10th chapter the King said 'Deliver my son Lawrence...'. So I'm a bit confused now. Who's son is Lawrence?
I hope you'll post a new chapter soon. :)

The last two chapters have been good. I like the information that you've added concerning the monarchy. It lends an air of authenticity (at least I think it does) to the work. I find the thought of sending the good Commodore to deal with James a nice touch. I find it interesting that you've chosen to give Lord Douglas children. Me personally I would like to know more about who their mother is and how many he has. Keep up the good work.

>No reviews, the muses go out gambling
>(we DO live in Las Vegas, after all)
>and I can’t get any writing done.
Have you tried gambling with them at home so they won't leave you? The stakes could be chapters: you win - they have to inspire you with something, they win - you have to write something. Sounds like a good deal to me.
Honestly, I have no idea how the story should proceed other than that they reveal everything to Gilette, but that would be a bit too simple. (And if they trust Gilette with the whole story now, then why didn't they before?)
It was probably not the brightest plan to sail into Port Royal on the Pearl. Jack and Groves should have taken a longboat and made up a story of Super-Groves' daring escape with the miserable governor while the two pirate crews were fighting (the Pearl surely out for the governor's blood).
I'm curious for your way out of that corner.

Yea! a new chapter!!!
As for where to go... I'm horrible with foreshadowing (always smacking myself and thinking, "d'oh I should've seen that coming") but... I can't help but feel that keeping Dennings on board The Black Pearl will come back to bite everyone on the ass. I can just about hear the "danger" music from Star Trek when I read that part. I'll wait and see! Thanks,

I have become endeared to the characters within this story. I love the Governor and the way that you add just enoughJackJack to the Governor within certain situations to make it realistic. I'm a little concerned about the amount of people finding out about Robert and Jack's true identities. . . That could cause a very real problem if the wrong person finds out. I'm also curious as to what is going on with Annamaria. . .

Keep up the good work.
