The sad thing is, I didn't even think of Toombs as a male really before now. But now that I think about it, he is pretty sexy. Whew. Not as sexy as Riddick though. n.n Personal opinions! Hey, maybe I'll write a Toombs fanfiction. But don't worry, I'm not out to steal your 'thunder'. I doubt I'm even half as good as you. XD I hope Lanie doesn't end up with Riddick. Such a good story unfolding here, I just wish the folk responsible for CofR had put even half as much thought into their settings, characters and plotting as you have in this fic...really like your narrator, really like Toombs, as before - just - please write more!

in september my best friend came back from cinema with a toombs-obsession. unfortunately your story was the only fanfiction she could find; now she's announcing - in quite regular intervalls while having coffee - that she's going to visiF toF to see if you updated "a merc's revenge" and i answer - in the same regular intervalls - that you haven't. i keep checking it, on the one hand being quite curious myself, on the other because *i* am desperately waiting for a sequel of "oranges".

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE *begging on her knees + trying to remain modest* would you write another chapter or two?

Rowrrr! You've picked out the best thing, the very, very best thing, from 'Chronicles of Riddick' to write about. Toombs was sexy as heck in the film and is just the same, the way you've written him here. What a beginning for a story - I need to know more about Toombs, and his sometime girlfriend immediately! This is off to a brilliant start. Please, You have to write more...and preferably, soon!
