i've read all the updated chapters and it's better than i expected....
i like how you've changed the meeting of Achilles and Briseis.... it sounds much more realistic.... considering.... in the movie, Achilles 'falls in love' with Briseis after knowing her for like two days!?!
Anyway....it sounds like you've read the Iliad (The war of Troy or whatever it's called...) ... i'm realy surprised as i've heard that its very long and very, very boring......
i've heard that The Oddessey (sp?) is much better and more exciting....
i havn't read any of them but i've seen the oddesey movie and iv'e read summerised books on Greek Myths and legends.... although that was years ago....

i love how you are putting notes and explanations at the end of the chapters... it just goes to show how much work and research you've put into this story.....

you havn't updated since last year and it will be terrible if you stop just when the excitment of Achilles and Briseis meet.....

just one quick question....
at the end of one of your chapters... you say that after Achilles and Briseis meet.... the story will no longer follow the movie.....
are you planning to follow the Iliad story.... ie. Achilles getting the poison arrow at his heel and dying ...etc? Or are you just going to make up your own version of the story? - Be totally different from the movie and the history?

Hey... i've only read 3 chapters of your story and i just had to stop and reveiw on how great this story is!!!!!
it's obvious you've spent alot of time watching the movie and come up with logical and intersting plots for each of the characters .....
I especially like how you taken the time to actually get a story line instead of just going straight in with the adult stuff...
i've only just saw "Troy" on DVD yesterday and was totally hooked onto the story .....
i'm a big fan of Greek myths and legends and have been reading these magical stories for years so i know a bit about waht actually happened during the war....
Even though the movie is not historically accurate..... in the movie ... the war lasts for like a month....
in history recordings.... the war actually went on for ten years.....

Anyway.... i'm blabbing again..... i just wanted to say that i love this story.... i like how you actually incorporate scenes into the story so it actually fits in with the movie....

now i'll read the rest of the chapters.....

just one more thing.... are you going to include the greek gods in the story? or is the sotry going to be like the movie where the characters just beleive in the gods?
