you've probably gotten a million of these, but "putain" literally means "whore." the french often use it like we use "dammit" or "fuck," though, as in [gets a papercut] "tch! putain!!"
and a most amusing fic, btw. ^-^ i especially liked js tes textbook knowledge of the tense names. it was oddly appropriate that he'd know such a thing.

Great fic! Hmm...Jack as a teacher, now, that's something to think about ^^ About what G.S. was saying Baisez-moi and Baise-moi are actually the same verb (with the same meaning!). Baisez-moi is the formal and Baise-moi the informal (or baisez-moi could be informal if you're talking to a group...but let's not talk about that heh) Or you could say the former is the second person plural and the latter, second person singular...And Fucking pirate would actually be Putain DE pirate (yea, bloody article, I know) and La Maison de Péché would be Maison du Péché or Maison des Péchés (latter litteraly as House of Sins) Apart from that, you're doing great ^^

hahaha that was such a great story...nice ending too!! hehe. Interesting plot and it was so original the way you made jack the teacher...with the wood...hahahahah anyway. What a nice story..lol can'ta wait to read more of your stuff!!

wow, i liked it alot! i heart jack/will. but, and i only mention this because i'm a nitpicker like that, but Baise-moi means kiss me and fuck me is baisez-moi. i also don't like the word nitpicker. lol didn't really matter, both phrases worked i guess. good story!

What the bloody hell was Jack talking about when he said 'shame about the French'? Goddamn, look what their language can cause his blacksmith to do! =p I've lost so much faith in the PotC fandom lately and have beemptempted to leave completely because of fangirls writing slash and *shudder* getting good reviews for shit fics, but when I read a gorgeous fic like this I'm happy I still pay a visit now and then. This was fantastic: hot as all hell, original, fun and in character. Go you!

i really like the ideaJackJack as an overbearing tutor type and i think you got the characterisation of will just right.
