That was wonderful. I'm actually sad that it's over but I loved the climax of him trying to kill himself and her telling him she would die, too, if he did. Brilliant move on her part.

Loved that Luke was finally open enough to admit what had happened and that it led to a breakthrough. I think the last two chapters were my favorites, only because the angst factor and then the amorous aftermath were just so emotionally satisfying.

The epilogue was cute. Glad to see that they finally married and had kids.

Very well done! I enjoyed it a lot.

This was absolutely wonderful. I love the way you built the tension on the last couple of chapters, the way Mara kept after Luke but with subtle means and the way Luke was fighting himself trying to keep away from her and yet not.

Loved it. Hope you update soon!

Oh wow, that meeting between Mara and Luke was intense. It pains me to see him trying to shut her out of his life like this. They need to knock boots and start the healing process!!!

Wow! This is a great story! PLEASE update soon! I can't bear not knowing what's going to happen next!

This story was a very well done and passionent storyline, I do hope that you would continue it onward. Some ideas perhaps in helping you to continue this would be for 1. Luke to go to Vaders Castle as a place of refuge and solace. 2. Mara to come looking for him and almost be lost in hope to where he went. (searching Tatooine, perhaps Byss (dont' know about that one) But one of the things that would be a very good part of this tale is that at the end when Mara does find him...she reverses roles with him in the bedroom scene...where he asks her to share her Weaknesses with him and she her strengths, that she askes him to share his weaknesses with her and she will offer her strengths. (which I sure is your whole purpose to this story plot line) still I have enjoyed reading all this and do wish to convay my thanks for sharing with us such a wonderful story and to ask that if at all possible please continue to finish and conclude such a wonderful piece of work. thanks dlsky

Wonderful story, but I am still waiting for an update!!!

I would say that I loved your fic but some of it was to dark and agntsy for me to actually say that, you know? It was beautifully written and everything was very close to the mark, I found few errors in this fic, and I know hwo rare it is to come across a piece like this, somthing dealing with a touch of everything from a blooming romance (m/f) between Luke and Mara (which I adore togethe rby the way) to the sandal revolving around Mara Jade and her sordid past and the political spotlight that always surrounds Leia, and of course Han, scruffy witty and handsome Hand Solo...Throw in some originial of your own too which I'm finding myself rather fond of that kindly old Doc you put in, has a real hear tI think.

I wonder, what will Mara say/do/think when she find out ALL of what happened to her fiance. Now that is a chapter to look forward to. Now, I hope you haven't cut off from writing this fanfic because I'm addicted to it I mean after what 25 chapters....you can't leave me hanging like this!!!!(well you could)

I'm so glad to see this updated. Another great chapter, Kayladie! I wonder where Luke will go and what's up next? I wasn't surprised Leia couldn't honor her promise to Luke - but it looks like he's taken matters into his own hands and is not going to give them any other choice. Nice to see Luke assert his independence and to focus on what he needs and not what others need for a change. As always, I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
