THE TRIUMPHANT RETURN OF "WHISPER YOUR WEAKNESS"!!! I'm ecstatic! Thanks for not giving up on this- it's just got so much content and creativity. Well, hopping right back in- I thought I'd be upset that Luke wasn't bucking up and smiling anyway, but I've found that I like this response from him much more. Luke is human, after all, and I adore that he's allowing himself to be selfish when he needs to be. I'm of course looking forward to Mara taking matters into her own hands eventually, but until then, Luke finding his peace of mind is important to the development of the story. We can't have him going postal- who knows how much damage a rampaging Jedi master could do. OO' (Seriously, guys! Just let him have his damn space!)

Yay! A new chapter! Woohoo!

This was a very intense chapter, emotionally speaking and you've once again hit the mark. From Luke's depression and Han's frustration to Darek's nervousness and Leia's pain when she discovers her brother has essentially run away and doesn't want to talk with any of them--it's all very real and convincing. Quite frankly, I'm not at all surprised by Luke's decision to run, particularly after he was told he was being selfish for wanting some space to deal with everything (I take it Leia doesn't know about the 'conversation' Han and Luke had? Han was most certainly pushing). What's Luke going to do if Mara does decide to go after him? And is Luke's family going to discover what, exactly, happened to him? Poor Darek--hope he's up to having the group camping out on his doorstep. I can't wait for the next chapter to find out!

I'm so glad you're back! I've been patiently waiting for this chapter...for 4 months. ; ) Poor Luke, he really does need some time to think things through. He's not one to enjoy people fussing over him in the best of circumstances, let alone this. It's a shame he had to go outside his circle of friends to find an ally. But I can understand their pain as well. I can't wait for Mara to save the day. You did the doctor's reaction to her glares very well...an amusing part of an otherwise angsty chapter.

So Luke has run off... that's one way to deal with his problems.

Another fantastic chapter!! But a month away from Mara!! Come on, that is a whole month of wonderful boot knocking he could have had!! Well, lets hope Luke takes the time to get his self together. I am looking forward to a warm and erotic reunion with his fiance! I hope it doesn't take another 4 months to get another update from you!!! Remember I know where you live!! LOL Great job!!!

Oh wow! What an emotional chapter! The depth of Luke’s depression broke my heart, but was completely understandable. I can also see why he’d want to withdraw and ‘fix’ it without any help. He always was a do-it-yourself kind of guy.

Loved the scene where the doctor walked in to find all Luke’s family and friends arguing, LOL. And Han rocked in this chapter! Leave it to him not to pull the punches and confront Luke with that famous Corellian tact. ;)

I’m very much looking forward to where you take this next!

Torture fics are usually not my thing and I confess to reading parts of this with only one eye open, but you have such an amazing talent for Luke and L/M that I was hooked immediately.

I can't wait for the next chapter - which I KNOW you have. ;) Post soon please!
