Ah, yes, Viktor was the character I loved to hate. His end was quite fitting! Luke reacted the way any abused/tortured creature might react if allowed to get the upper hand with its tormentor (although I doubt he'll view it that way). Very well done!

Another thing you handled well was the interaction and dialogue between his rescuers--I especially liked that part with, "Honestly, how did you people get anything done during the Thrawn crisis?” "Shut up, CorSec." That was just brilliant.

Now, I have a couple questions. Will the full extent of Viktor's crimes, not just against Luke but his other victims as well, come to light? And will Luke let his family help him heal?

Whoohoo!! The rescue team finally arrives! Loved that Luke got Viktor - dark side be damned! I can't wait to see how you treat his recovery. I would think it's going to be a bit of a long-haul on the recovery after such a horrifyingly traumatic experience. I can see poor Luke's psyche having suffered quite a blow.

I've said it before, I'll say it again - I love this piece of artful fiction.

Well Kayladie, I went back and re-read from chapter 1 to 22 last week - and I must say this is such a fantastic story! I think I already sent you my kudos for ch22. Now that I've had a chance to read ch22 again, the last part has me somewhat worried. Did you just have Luke die? Or was it a mental break? Now I really am anxious for the gang to find Luke and really dish out some severe punishment to Viktor. I wish Luke were to get a little of his strength back so that he could give Viktor a blow into next week, but somehow I think you might have that reserved for someone else. If/when the gang finds Luke, I can totally see Mara, Han & Wedge going ballistic and ready to take out Viktor with their bare hands.

Wait... just... gimme a minute... I can't see the screen when my eyes are blurred with tears. It's awful. I mean, what Luke's going through. It's so awful because the writing's so good. I didn't think that I could feel any worse for Luke, but the way his personality itself starts to deteriorate... (sob) And now there's this whole new dimension to the story: Will Luke be the same when he gets free? I worry 'bout him. And also, three cheers for our favorite Princess! And for Dr. Mondahl, as well! Good for them. Brownie points all around. Now Mara can beat the Hell out of Viktor. I wish many bad things upon him- like I hope he loses his car keys and twists his ankle just before he has a run-in with Mara's lightsaber. And then I hope Luke gives him a very painful Force-Whammy thingamadooger. (Veangeful? Me?)
It made me SO happy to see that you'd put up new chapters. Really. Like "(gasp!) (choke on mouthful of water!) (drop everything and read!)" type happy. Just know that you have a very strong fan population out here, Ms Author. And right now, it's a very happy one... happy in a totally sympathetic-to-Luke kind of way.

Smut? I missed the smut? Well...I am most definitely going back and reading the rest of this.

Great chapter. Leia and the rest need to hurry and rescue Luke before this goes any further.

Ok I am miledly confused. I know Luke was raped, but where is he, where can Vickor not find him. Will Mara & all them make it to Luke in time or will they only find another body just this time it is not a clone. I really enjoy this story, Please update soon.

this is truly an excellent story! Viktor is one of the best drawn serial killer-type villains I've read... Poor Luke! Please let Mara kick Viktor's butt, and keep up the excellent writing!

Viktor is just pure evil. In a way I am glad that he told Luke he was going to take Mara as his next victim. Because now Luke has a reason to hang on. Please let Mara rescue my beautiful Farmboy. If anybody in the EU deserves happiness it is Luke. Plus I want to get back to reading about Forced-Enhanced boot knocking!!! Great update!!
