Wow, you really know how to twist a plot around, don't you?

-Leia in the bedroom, wow. The cutting of the hair, and her resolve to welcome the mystery woman into their family. Me likes.

-Mara and Leia on the balcony. Really, how would she say that *she* was the mystery woman? Kind of difficult thing to tell Leia, to find the right words. You know I said "Noo!!" when they were interrupted just as she was about to say it.

-Karrde at the end, ever the knowing one. Perfect for him to offer her his support.

Anyway, awesome couple of posts - I'm waiting anxiously for the next installment!

What luck! Another chapter!

This was a many tissue chapter! The "Little brother..." bantering as Leia remembers is so touching. (Okay - I cried, I admit it.) And Leia cutting her hair, and cutting off the last ties to her 'family' is very powerful. Then needing to get to Luke's apartment to find the ring was heartbreaking. (Cried again...can't lie.)

I so wanted Mara to reveal to Leia her relationship with Luke. And inviting Mara to ride with the family to Luke's memorial service is so touching - regardless of her intimate relationship, they were the best of friends.

And poor Wedge - the guilt he and Iella must be feeling. I'm glad you didn't forget about them completely after using Wedge as your plot device. I'm a personal Wedge fan, especially when dealing with his friendship with Luke.

Looking forward to more!! I've got a new box of Kleenex sitting by my pc.

Once again, another wonderfully written chapter. It is extremely sad, but very good. I am going to assume that there will be a twist somewhere that will bring our two lovers back together. I just hope this doesn’t go the route of “Romeo and Juliet”. Then I will be very unhappy. Please don't do that! PLEEESSSEEEE!!! Come on, you don’t want me to go all “Annie Wilkes” on you like in the movie “Misery” when her favorite character was killed off.-- “I am your number one fan”. :p (Just kidding!!)

This is one of my favorite Luke/Mara stories I have ever read. Please keep up the good work. I hope next year brings some more great chapters. Great job Kayladie!!!!

Blink... Wait, this can't be right! No...No...NO!!

This is fantastic - in a horrifying way. I can't believe you killed LUKE! But was it really Luke?? Why did the doctor want his DNA sample way back when?? Is it a clone that was left?

Poor Wedge, he gets his little girl back but at the cost of one of his best friends. OMG - Leia, Han & the Solo kids - just awful. And what will Mara do? And no-one knows how involved she and Luke were...

Wow - this is great! And the last two chapters came out one right after the other - bam, bam. I can't wait for more...really, I can not wait - you've got me hanging by a thin thread.

I'm sorry i've been reading this story from the first chapter and i've enjoyed it. However, this whole thing with killing luke has well sucked soo much that i'm not sure i'm even going to finish the stroy, and also i think that wedge was portrayed wrong as a character in the story. Thats all have a good day, i know that mines ruined.

That was very well written, but you have to know I am not a happy camper about this recent development. I WANT A HAPPY ENDING!!!! ;)

ARRRGGHHHHH!!!! A cliff hanger!! What will happen to our hero?! This is killing me. Good story. Well, I got what I wanted for Christmas--an update. Thanks! I look forward to the next chapter. :)
