I really like how youv'e built in the character of Patrocolus and made him so jealous, that gives a real edge to the Achilles/Paris relationship, and in your story this is a real threat. I also like the fact that you've got Paris off the Trojan beaches so quickly, it moves the story away from the film very effectively: poor Paris so beautiful, so vunerable. Thanks.

After seeing the reviews for this, and since my own fic is coming to an end, I thought I'd sit down and have a good read - and Red Autumn you don't disappoint. Nice story, well written, with lots of good bits to make me blush ;)

To Jamaica - your review is both incorrect and rude and if it had been me I would have deleted it for its inaccuracies. The plotline between Achilles and Paris did not begin with Solytayre, wonderful writer that she is. In mythology Achilles a lua lusty warrior, attracted to beautiful young men - Patroclus, Troilus etc, and he didn't like to take no for an answer. Hence most fics will portray him forcefully taking Paris, the most beautiful man alive who was renowned for his love of women, not men and would therefore reject Achilles as both enemy and male. Crazyundeadfairy with her fantastic epic 'Will More Strongly' has gotten around this plot device by having the two meet earlier before the war and before they were enemies. I was going to use the same idea, Achilles forcing himself upon Paris initially, until I read One Little Mistake and changed tact.

Anyway, enough blathering, great story Red Autumn and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, look forward to reading more soon :)

All right...I feel like I have to explain something. Believe it or not, "Jamaica" is my cousin, Kasia (Kate), who is staying at my house until her parents will come back from Germany and however embarrassing that is, I wrote her review mf. If. I never read „Take me home” since I don’t have time to read any fanfics lately. I’m in the last year of high school and I’m drowning in work. She asked me to write her some review since English is not our native language and she has some problems with writing. We’re both into “Troy” slash so I told her to read few of my favourite fics on AdultFanFic. That’s when she read your story. She told me that th alr already had some nasty reviews and that she was not the only one thinking that way. She was nagging me about it so I wrote it, even though I thought it was wrong, to have some peace. However now, when I read the story I can’t believe that I did it and I am truly sorry for translating her words. I feel terrible. Maybe it’s stupid but I feel even worse knowing that she used my own computer. If it’s any good, she said some cruel things about my own fics too. I usually never show them to anyone and they are not published anywhere since I don’t have the time to find myself a beta and I can’t just sit and check them myself because I have some major problems with grammar (you probably noticed that already ;P). Plus I’m kinda afraid to send them. So it was even more uping ing to hear that they are bad. Anyway I just wanted to let you know that she won’t get anywhere near my computer and I personally think that your story is great and that you should continue. So keoingoing Red Autumn and don't ever let someone like "Jamaica" stop you. I only regret that this someone, is a person from my own family. :*

solytayre's "One little mistake" is my favorite . But .... just reading 3 chapters and jumping to conclusion that this fic is nothing but a "lame imation" ?? I think you're unnecessarily cruel and unfair to Red Autumn.

Actually, "take me home" has a totally different plotline. If you don't believe, check the author's homepage pls, it has 11 chapters now (still WIP)

I’ve got one little advice for you: don’t bother continuing. Solytayre did almost the same thing in „One little mistake”. The only difference is that her story is great and yours…just a lame imitation.
