Great fic, honey.
Got a good plot planned out yet?
Heres an "observation". lol Almost all the stories are Hoot/OFC - the ofc being a woman back home.
How bout put a tough chica in his life? I know there cannot be females inside Delta. (grr..).
But read something on the uk BHD movie site: You can get a female character in is by their "Support squadrons". This are the only Delta squadron that includes women. These squadrons include logistics, operations and intelligence detachments. "they sneak in country ahead of commando team and relay information back. (which was what "hoot" kinda did at the beginning of the movie). Perfect chance for them to get to be together, easier and cooler too. lol. just send them off on missions together. And then she could be rebelious whenever she is excluded (which is prob. at most times).
So they think they won't see each other again... then she is brought on board for missions. *gasp* they never saw that coming!

oh my, this was too good.
As i am in a Eric Bana phase/craze, i'm reading up on all his character's fanfics.
I was fortunate enough to find this fic as one of my first "Hoot" stories. I hope ne other ones i find will be as good as this.

Hey Donna Lynn, just read your Hoot fiction - nice and sweet...ah, I love Hoot and I love it when people put their own spin on characters that aren't necessarily fleshed out during the movie. It's a nice escape! But great fic, made me feel warm and fuzzy thinking of Hoot being such a sweet gentleman. Thanks!
