I already reviewed this on ffnet, think it's hilarious with Godley waking in, extraordinarily sexy and the feel to the movie is there too!

This is a very nice From Hell fic. I like how you describe all of Abberline's emotions. He isn't just trying to alleviate a sexual arousal. He is also remembering his wife, attempting to stay loyal to her, and at the same time deal with his growing attraction to Mary. Additionally, he wants to treat Mary as a person rather than an object. These elements added depth to what would have been a rather gratuitious situation. Another wonderful effort by you.

I don't know why I saved this one for last. Probably because I didn't care for Heather Graham's chemestry with Depp in the movie. Um.... there was none. Which is really a shame because Mary Kelly is one of the few strong female canon characters in ANY Depp movie that could be used for fanfic. I think thats why there's so much slash with Depp characters, (well, besides the obvious reasons), because there is such a dearth of strong females in his movies.

But your fic avoided that pit fall beautiflly (I'm not surprised!) and concentrated on Freddie... solo... yum.
Wonderful.
