>“But Jack, I’ve not heard of any nobles named Sparrow.”
He might have taken on that name after the family's coat of arms? Couldn't there be a family or castle/smalltown with a sparrow on their coat of arms? The comodore or Lizzy might even become aware of that one day.
> “You mean it’s put you in danger. Commodore Norrington can’t hang a noble.”
But nobody would believe Jack if he claimed to be a noble. If it were that easy every pirate would try.
Why on earth did the commodore not wait until Will and Jack had set Elizabeth ashore before he ordered his men out of hiding, if he really wanted to capture Jack?

Oh dear. Now Elizabeth is going to have to hide Jack and Will in Port Royal for a while. Too bad for her she married Norrington.

Foolish pirate, relying entirely on Jamie's goodwill. He should at least have expected a few arresting-minded soldiers waiting for him.

*rotfl* That's Will: act first, never mind the consequences, and entirely too much focused on propriety.
