you know, within ithe first few sentences, i just had this feeling that it was gonna be balthazar. the title fit him somehow, even if that's not what you had in mind. anyways, i liked it. balthazar's such a crude bastard/

Oh excellent, excellent, excellent! Oh, and such a killer ending as well. I think I've read and re-read this too many times to count now. This is definitely my number 1 Constantine fic. Lord, I don't know if you've said all you think needs to be said on the subject, but I'd just pray for you to a sequel. Or something else totally unconnected with Balthazar in it. Everything was so perfectly right, I think it's a major challenge to write NC-17 stuff well, but you did it! And so perfectly IC.

O_O One of the few GOOD Balthazar/Constantine fics I've read. REALLY well done, you're got their personalities perfectly. Love it. awesome ending. Just... great, the psychological aspects and the physical.
Just one thing: you might want to proofread a bit more. A few little things like "dominant" instead of "dominate" are present throughout, but other than that, this is bloody brilliant.

This needs another chapter or a sequel it was so good! Good job mixing Johns agnsty thoughts with the good smut scene. I for one wouldn't mind if Balthazar had to try again and be super sneaky at Midnites...hehe
