Hi, it's me, the author...just thought I'd answer some of the reviews and questions here rather than writing copious author's notes at the start of the next chapter.

So~Tara~Yes, you are right, it would make a lot of sense that Padme be sent to a world other than Naboo, except that Bail sent her there because Vader wouldn't go there. Of course, he won't go to Tatooine either, but I don't think the med facilities are that up to date there. As for her being recognized, well, that is a problem. The only thing I can say was that she had been presumed dead for a number of years and that she was in a private facility with a small staff. As for Obi-Wan, yes he was MIA before ANH but Vader killed him and wouldn't it just suit his ego to change the record to reflect that?

Padme's Angel~ Thanks for the defense against reviewers like Quiz Me. *sigh* there will always be flamers, I'm afraid...

Ani Sparrow~ I don't think Padme is acting like Luke is her only child, just that Luke is in grave danger (and from his *father*, no less) and she is wildly worried about him.

Jeannie~ It's a Skywalker family story, as you will see in the next chapter.

OK, folks...the next chapter is coming along and should be posted by Wednesday. Sorry that it leaves off on an evil cliffie, but hey, what are SW authors for? Please keep the comments and criticisms coming. (((love))) ~Cyranothe2nd

So this is going to be a Luke/Padme story? or Padme/Vader? It's coming out great though

Another good chapter, although it jarred a little when Padmé was thinking as if Luke was her only child. But that is a minor matter.

I wonder what the Emporer will do and more to the point, what Vader will do?

Oh, what a very interesting chapter! Yes, there are a few inconsistencies in spelling (Piett's name for instance), but you are already aware of this. I'll be looking for more updates.

Wow, I really liked this story and I hope you update soon! I'm dying to see what is going to happen now that Luke wasn't rescued by Leia and that he and Padme are in Vader's hands.

To the last inadaquate reviewer...if you are going to flame a fic at least point out what you didn't like. And for God's sake don't criticize the other reviewers just because you don't personally like the fic. Jeez! *rolls eyes and pats Cyranothe2nd on the hand* It's OK girl, there are a whole lot of us who LOVE this!

The low expectations of the people who leave gushing reviews for mediocre fics never ceases to amaze me.
