Very nice chapter. I loved the emotion, and how you wove the movies into it. Can't wait to see what happens.

Oh, and for the last reviewer...It makes sense to me that Padme would go to Tatooine. Its not like the Rebels are sitting around waiting for her to find them. And it TWENTY years later, of course Padme would have no diplomatic contacts left. Plus, she doesnt want people to know she's alive.
As for her being on Naboo...yeah, she was a Queen and a Senator, but she was also in kaboki makeup the whole time. Did the public know what she really looked like? Canon isn't clear on that point.

I think your story would be better served if you had Padme kept on a different planet other than Naboo. She's a popular former queen and beloved senator, the risk of her being recognized was too high to send her to her home planet. Kind of a plot hole there. And I may be remembering incorrectly, but why wouldn't Obi Wan just be listed as Missing In Action, presumed dead. He just disappeared. In ANH, no one on the Death Star seemed that surprised when he showed up other than that he wasn't dead from old age already. I don't get why Padme would go to Tatooine, why not look for the rebels instead? That would be a hell of a lot faster. Her memory doesn't seem to be *that* affected so surely she can conjur up some old political contacts and find them. You need to pay more attention to Star Wars details. It's 'credits' not 'money'.
