What a brilliantly written ending; powerful and poignant and woven so seamlessly with the movie plot. I loved the way you injected fragments of thoughts/memories in brackets to give the sentences more force, making the words more emotionally charged. I do hope that you write more, this was a real treat, thanks for sharing :)

I love your spin on Anakin's insecurities. Unrequited love (at least, as far as he knew) would certainly be enough to drive one to despair. And Obi-Wan's train of thoughts was entirely believable. Which is to say nothing about your overall skill with writing, which is (as you know, I'm sure) fantastic.

I'm looking forward to reading more of your work, regarding Anakin/Obi-Wan.

What a beautifully written and well constructed story! I love the way that you have captured Anakin's need and his vulnerability. Too many authors write him as pure evil, but I think that his anger and pride were always matched with his overly-fierce capacity for love, right to the end of his story. I really enjoy your portrayal of him in this story. Also, the way you've identified and presented key themes to build believable characters and plot, like the contrast between Anakin's raw, overwhelming emotions and Obi-Wan's coolness due to their different childhoods, makes compelling reading. The insightful title should have cued me to the thoughtfulness that runs through this piece! Moreover, I really appreciated your rich, descriptive prose during the sex -- quite an accomplishment and a boon for your readers. Thank you for sharing and please keep writing, and I very much look forward to reading more :)

The first two chapters are very lovely. Easy paced, and insightful.
I'm looking forward to reading Obi-Wan's response to Anakin's inevitable confession.
