Wow - Very hot Adair! Loved the angry and reluctant attraction. The kiss was done perfectly and was very plausible within the context that you placed them. Loved this line in relation to Bruck:

**And the only person who could inflame his passion**

If it weren't for that little fact - this scene wouldn' t have been nearly as entertaining :) It's really the only thing that could bring these two together I think. You handled it brilliantly.

But poor Xan! I think he knew that Obi would fail the test - but I still feel for him regardless. Obi sure is confused, and I hope Xan realizes that as well. I want them together, but I don't want Obi to have to grovel for it.

Again - it's so hard to wait fo more! But I can't complain. You're pretty quick with the updates :) Now hurry back with more!

Wonderful Adair!

Loved the obvious physical attraction of Obi towards Bruck, and Xan's obvious but understated jealousy. The possessive kiss was perfect :) Really rounds out the picture with Obi's jealous thoughts at the beginning. That boy sure is confused. I hope he can get his act together without losing Xan in the process.

It's going to be hard to wait for the next few chapters! Great writing as always :)

Poor Obi :( feeling jealous and angered over Qui and Xan's affair. Wow Obi has it bad that's for sure for Xan! hehehe well bet that's gonna lead somewhere soon! :D Can't wait for more!

Oh my! Obi is gonna have to decide then if he truly does love Xan. That'll be good :D Uh oh Xan is moving the plan into action... Poor Bruck...juz wait until he sees Obi!

Very well done, Adair. I like that this is not the Bruck from the JA books. He's got some depth and he and Jinn seem close and companionable. Curious to see what comes next. Most curious as to Bruck's reaction to Obi. It's gonna be good I'm sure ;) Keep it coming, girl!

I must say however that I'm hoping Obi has a change of heart. He's carried this anger around for so long - maybe Xan and even Qui can help him release it.

Can't wait for the Obi/Bruck confrontation :) Nice work as always!

Those two... I swear *chuckle* Juz get together again! And with Chapter 8 we see that...well sorta. The 'hold me' is better than nothing! Perhaps Obi wil realize that he does indeed love Xan!

Poor Qui... he has not a clue what's gonna be instore with him...

I dont' get here nearly as often as i'd like. Wonderful update Adair! I love that Obi's resistance is slowly crumbling and bravo to Xan for his willpower. I hope it will be worth it. These two are absolutely adorable and irresistable together. I don't know what you have planned, but i'm hoping the eventual outcome will be with Obi giving Xan his heart. Of course things are bound to get complicated with Qui and Bruck now in the picture. Looking forward to Bruck's reaction to Obi - and vice versa. I'm finding this highly enjoyable. Keep up the good work!

Ohhh, I love your Aalto! He's a wonderful friend to Bruck. And Xan being mature and adult about relationships? Wha? LOL!
