**He didn’t doubt Obi-Wan’s feelings for Xanatos, but the young man was at the peak of his hormonal age and his passion for Bruck was all too real. One couldn’t put two attractive and healthy men their age in close contact for so long and not expect nature to take over.**
Nice observation for Obi's attraction to Bruck, but at the same time does not diminish his obvious love for Xan. I always enjoy your logic and choice of words ;)
Qui's talk with Bruck was heartfelt, I really felt his concern and sudden panic. His thoughts were very realistic in this situation and I like that while he felt for Xan and Obi - but obviously his main concern is Bruck. He will be the one to pick up the pieces when these two stubborn men finally get a clue.
Obi standing at the ramp and Xan hiding in the shadows - perfect angst. Can't wait to see how far you take it. Your writing is proof that one can have good clean angst and not have it turn to torture or non con. This is my kind of angst and I am thoroughly enjoying it :D Keep up the good work.

P.S. Oh, - and since you've been so great with the updates here, I guess I can wait a bit longer for the next chapter, if I have to. I know YOU wont leave us hanging ;-) Hope your muse cooperates for the TF.N fic.

When Bruck said he was sorry, I was waiting for him to knock Obi out and leave him where Xani could find him. As much as I want to see Obi and Xan together, I know the story will end when it happens. Talk about a tough choice!

Lori,Lina, and Shan: Thanks guys! I'm so glad I'm not just deluded when it comes to Bruck. lol I'm not sure how soon the next post will be up. I have a story over at TFN that I need to get a chapter going on. If that muse continues to give me fits, I'll hurry back to this one. :)

I see what you are doing - and I approve :) Not that you need my approval in the least, but i'm giving it ;-) Utterly delicious angst and i'm loving every minute of it.
Explore away with Bruck - I'm enjoying his character as much as you are I think. He's so mature and without all the bitterness of the original Bruck in the JA books he's so much more appealing. His love for Obi is obvious, and what he is doing is so sweet.
He gave Xan the key to Obi's heart - yet he can't make them let go of their stubborness. Can't blame him in the least for wanting to enjoy whatever time he can have with Obi-Wan.
The impact of his words on Xan will stay with the fallen Jedi long after they've all left I suspect.
And I must say I just want to fall at your feet for all these quick and wonderful updates. I don't know how you do it - but keep doing it ;) Back when i can.
