Wow, this is really funny. I love Crane's manipulative mind. It was sexy to see him pushing Ducard's buttons, knowing exactly what he was doing and disproving everyone's theory that he's helpless, even as he pretends that he is. I think you were bang-on with his character. Jonathan Crane is one of the most brilliant characters ever created. His ability to fuck with people's heads is what makes him so fascinating. I appreciated how this story was more of a mind-fuck than it was a physical one. You captured his intelligence, ambition and devious personality perfectly. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to this. ^_^

Gah, it's about time I got around to this! Your fic's been wasting away in my "To Comment On" pile for far, far too long. Hopefully the wait won't dull the words, eh?
I'll start by saying-- and pardon the frankness-- that this fic was so hot, I printed off a copy to have one around so I can fap to it offline. There's not many I keep like this, and with good reason: not only do they have to be hot, but if a story's not well-written, it's like getting sprayed by a cold hose. Yours, dear author, was fantastically written indeed.
First off, there's the characterization. You have Crane's mind down _pat_, keeping the good Doctor's chilly sense of analysis slicing through the heat of the moment throughout. That he'd be getting off from the abstract power-plays involved as much as (if not more than) the physical acts going on only makes sense for him.
I haven't even mentioned your command of language yet. The grammar/spelling is sound, and Crane's POV never blurs into any narrator's-only territory he wouldn't know about. Your wordplay, too, brandishes a wit that works as subtly as the actions themselves don't. (It took me a couple times to pick up on "Crane could crow with delight if he could", but once I did, _man_, was I grinning!)
The fact that you'd write them staying in business suits the whole time and have the (debatably) submissive Crane giving head to Ducard's cane makes me wonder how you could possibly hit so many specifics on my turn-on list without knowing them first, but as I doubt you've got hidden cameras hooked up in my room, I'll just put that down as "extra credit." [smirk]

This is a great story featuring my two fave characters from the movie. You have to finish this off. Keep it up.

That was good! I love the character Ducard and yet, I can find only two stories that include him. Please make another chapter...and grant that lusty Crane his wish! :P
