Are you going to update this? It's um... really, really good. And hot. And stuff.

I'd love to see more of Alfred and Dr. Crane interacting. Bruce and Jonathan could get too wrapped up in each other, and we the audience could loose our feel of what’s going on in the rest of the world. And we need to feel connected with Gotham, with Alfred, with maybe even Lucius, Gordon, and Rachel, if this stories going to be driven by the fear toxin's affect on Gotham and possibly the Joker’s presence! Alfred and Bruce's conversations in the first chapter hit the right cord in my. I feel their familiarity as strongly as I did in the movie and it's very satisfying. What I'm saying is I want more plot and more character development. ^_^ You've already started heading in that direction and if you continue, you may come up with the most satisfying Dr. Crane story yet! Any smut added to this story will be enhanced by a truly developed chemistry (and perhaps caring) between Dr. Crane and Batman. And if Jonathan were to make any bad decisions or betrayals, a developing trust with the other characters would make that decision even more poignant. This story has real potential!

I mean it has Crane, Joker, smut, everything I love about good Batman fics! There are so many mind games that it makes my head spin, and everyone is played out so wonderfully.

I just wanted to say that this story is not only very well-written, but HOT DAMMIT! I like your description of Crane's lips as whorish. Wayne's reluctance to be cruel despite enjoying it makes me want to encourage him. And your referance to Harley Quinn made me very happy as she's one of my favourite characters! Continue the great work!

Just a quick question now that I've read the later chapters: were the pliers out of place on the work table from Crane using them on himself (the cuts and scratches)? Or was he trying to get out of the straightjacket? I somewhat doubt the former as he was on his serum and therefore not the Scarecrow.

Oh, this is very good. I like how there is something like love growing between them (at least on Batman's part) as Batman is obviously very possessive of Crane. It won't be so much fun though, if Crane doesn't love him back--right now it seems like he really hates Batman's guts. Please continue this, it's really good. Please don't make it purely smutty, though--this story has so much potential to be really deep and moving. Too much shallow, blatant sex would just ruin it.
