Nice little moments between Ardeth and Rick that you managed to get in. The Medjais didn't seem to react to strongly to Ardeth's familiar way of treating Rick? Then again maybe they thought it was a friendly act or they (unlike the westerners) can simply mind their own bloody business. Have enough confident in their leader and his judgement. The guy DID lead them against Anubis' Army..

Aww, cute, yet sexy, morning-moment. Lots of good moments with Rick and Ardeth; it displays their affection (the way I personally like).
Aaaaand Jonathan gets into trouble again.. Approaching women in a camp full of desert warriors, WITH odds that at least one warrior is related and protective of them.. that's just not smart.
In stead he leaves the ONE relatively safe place they have.. What part of your-sister's-the-reincarnated-spirit-of-Nefretiri-and-wouldn't-hesitate-to-kill-you-to-get-her-way doesn't he get? At least Alex has enough good sense to keep an eye on him (even gets food for himself). How sad is that? His 8 year old nephew has to make sure that he, a full grown man, don't get in trouble. *shakes head* Men..

Don't have time to continue on to chapter 9 just now, just wanted to say thank you! Nefertiri's POV was, appropriately, sad and creepy, and I feel so bad for Rick and Alex. Evy really appears to be lost to them. Keep up the good work!
