My advice s ignore Doom no. 3 and just stick to your original. It is brilliant and easily the best fic I have ver read! So just KEEP GOING! And don't lose heart, because that would be a crime against great writing!

I agree with you, phooey on Marvel; but fear not, in a year or two, maybe even less, Marvel will change Doom's history to suite whatever plans they have. Lets face it, Marvel has at least 3 different histories for most of their characters. I don't even bother with trying to keep them straight; it will only give you a headache.

Anywho, I love your adaption of Doom's history: so keep it up!

Amen, sister. I wonder what my one and only near-same-aged married friend was thinking, personally. She's been married for three or so years and has two daughters. She's a little over seven months younger than me, we went to school together kindergarten through fourth grade and...Come to think about it, she was rather ruthlessly mannipulative of me, which left me a loner through high school, but ultimately I'm far better capable of enjoying being in my own head. Which helps me write. Then again, I think I was starting to get a bit loner-ish towards the end of our constant friendship-thingie, which set her off even more often.

...Holy poop, she's my Valeria. Only without the mushy love bit. Scary.

Anyway, as to Marvel: do you ever get the feeling that they don't require their writers to research the entire back-story of the characters they write before being assigned to a title? That could explain all of the AUs and ARs. I think DC might be a little better, except that Wonder Woman was orignally fighting with the JSA in WWII, but then they went back and said no, that was a time-traveling Queen Hypolyta, Diana's mom. Or something. Comics are just constantly in flux. Look at Calvin and Hobbes: Ten years of comic strips, and Calvin never had a birthday party, never left first grade, etc..

Continuity issues aside, great chapter, you rock, and huzzah.

You know that "stupid heartless bitch" line? Something similar has been going through my head since you introduced Valeria into the story. I think my my version was along the lines of "That stupid, self-centered COW!" This was occaisonally flavored with an exclamation of "Bi-atch!". So glad Victor's geting his healing moments too; he certainly needs them, and they're a wonderful reward for how well he's been dealing with Joviana's healing needs.

...Seriously, I want one. I don't know if that's mature of me or rather pathetic and clingy. Then again, I was never a walking hormonal mess in middle school or high school, so I think I've earned some whistful sighing-time.

Anyway, huzzah to you and your lovely, blessed muse. Huzzah and cookies!

I have been following this story ever since you finished the last one, I eagerly await updates and now I must apologise for never reviewing. This is one of the best stories I read on here and the only Fantastic Four one that I even bother with (aside from the first one) Your characters have sharp minds, great senses of humor, and are so real I almost forget I'm reading fiction. Please if you ever need a beta for anything feel free to email me. I love the cliffhanger endings you so often leave us with, I find myself looking for updates daily. As for being pradictable, every author is once in a while, but the great thing about posting a story chapter by chapter is that you have some warning of when you are, and I suspect you will mix things up just to keep us guessing. Thanks for writing such wonderful stories and I can't wait for the next chapter. I'm guessing that Victor will be happy to call Boris 'Father' and only never did before because he thought Boris wouldn't want him to.

I completely concur. You are very evil. Please update soon, as ever this is a brilliant fic and deserves to be updated often (hint hint).

Yes, you are evil. I can't believe you chose now to have Joviana broach this subject. Ack!
Also, I'm contemplating how I might use the phrase "let us forage". :)

I love your interpretation of the House of M and building on the premise created by Marvel; which mainly focused on the X-men and Spiderman. You are adding to what were basically secondary characters and building a great back story to them, while staying true to the original concept. The staying true is also for the "real" world Doom. Please keep it up. Maybe it is only me, but I can't wait for a confrontation of the two Dooms; especially if the H.O.M. Doom tries to take advantage of Joviana. Oh, and of course, I can't wait for the next chapter!

*punches the air above her head*

VICTORY IS MINE!

Anyway, yes, you're evil: you know you're evil, I know you're evil, everybody who has read your work knows your evil, and unfortunately for our little hearts and minds it makes you all the more of a kick-ass authoress. Which you already knew.

*hugs Gevaisa*

Anyway, I was quite giddy to note the story update, and even more so to read it. Go team you!

Oops. Well, that was a nasty situation Joviana was in for a bit, wasn't it? I liked how you pointed out the timing errors in comic book continuity, which in and of itself is largely due to the monthly production scheduel that particular medium runs on. Joviana makes excellent points, because such things would make time dating confusing. Really, Victor's a heck of a lot older than Joviana, if you think about it.

...Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew...

Anyway, I predict that fake!Cynthia has a non-human aura because she is in fact...bum-bum-BUM!!!...a DEMON! Ooh, spooky!

Sorry, it's late and I had an early morning. I needs some sleep.

Ta,
