I saw your story "Forget me not" just few days ago, and fortunately I save it to my computer to read later. I have e-mailed you the missing parts today and I hope you have received them.
I'm absolutely hooked on your story. It's one of the best SW fanfiction I've ever read (and I read a lot of) so wonderfully written.

WHY would you possibly delete your work????? I've got my work backed up at least 4 times over, on CD, zip drive, 2 folders on my hard drive, and several different sites! You can't trust that a website alone will hold it-- as you can see, ANYTHING can happen!

I saw that the last two chapters were missing, and I just assumed maybe you took them down to rework them or something.
I'm sick to think that they are completely gone. Don't they back up the site? Normally, I do copy stories I really like, but I hadn't gotten around to doing that with this one. Let's hope somebody saved a copy. They can't be gone, they just can't be! Or, to quote Darth Vader in Revenge of the Sith, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

No, sorry. I didn't save any of the chapters. I hope somebody did, though. This is a great story.
When you delete files, they usually go in the "Trash" folder on your computer. Could you retrieve your chapters from there?
Or if you e-mailed them to anyone, they might be in your "sent mail" or "trash" folders in your e-mail account.

Another thought...did you try contacting the board moderator or site administrator? Perhaps they could help, and would know why the chapters were erased in the first place. What did happen to this sight? I don't think it's just your story that got...messed with.

I noticed the disappearance of the latest chapters yesterday. I am so sad that they are lost, I hope you will be able to retrieve them and continue the story, it is so powerful it would be such a shame not to have an ending.
