you always leave us with a cliff hanger... but damn... Vader keeps getting more evil as the chapter goes on.

Crying was all I could do to ease the pain.
He had asked me not to cry, and I had to be strong. I did not want his most recent memory of us together to be one of me crying helplessly.

After the flashback:

Crying was so utterly useless

I buy into your explanation quite well, it's always what I sort of thought of Anakin, too. Given the fact that he DOES repent and turn back to the good side in Episode VI, so clearly there is some good left in him somewhere!!! Though it sure is a long, heartbreaking road till he find its. One that I'm hoping isn't going to end anytime soon because I'm enjoying it too much!

Awesome work in both chapters, I don't know how I do it, but I feel sorry for all of the characters. I don't usually even like original characters, but yours is so well-written and detailed that I can't help but like her!

Great chapter. I love how you portray the contrast between what Vader/Anakin wants to happen and reality. Very potent, and true to the thought pattern of someone like him.

This is a fantastic story. I love your portrayal of Anakin/Vader. I am looking forward to your upcoming chapters.

The sad irony of all this is that the most powerful being in the galaxy is completely powerless against himself. Of all of Vader’s countless victims, he, himself, suffers the most. It is torturous to watch as he mentally flails about trying to find reason in what he is doing. However, in this story that you have created, it is impossible to look away.

I want so badly for him to find some peace and find a flicker of light in his anguish. I don’t know what that would entail, but someone or something needs to relieve him of some of his misery soon, or I get the feeling that he’s going to implode and quite possibly take the entire galaxy with him.

You write the pain and conflict of the characters so well. With each chapter, my stomach is in a knot by the end – it’s like a really good ride at an amusement park. Thank you.

This is one sad chapter!!! I kind of feel real sorry for Anakin/Vader, Padme, and Si-Nia. They
have been through so much chaos. I hope there is peace, I hope!!! Please update soon, luv
