the only thing i can think of is at one Jareth says something along the lines of: make you bitterer and harsher as time goes on...
as anal as i know it is, it really should be harsher and more bitter. i can't imagine jareth with bad English skills! :D

Overall, I think this is a really good piece. You do capture Jareth's mood very well: that sort of haughty "I'm so gorgeous I'm always in control" vibe...
However.
There was one phrase that just... well, it jarred. To the extent that I blinked, looked away and had to read it again to ensure that I had actually seen it.
"Flipped her hair Pantene style."
AAARRRRGGGHHH
The rest of your writing is elegant and evocative... and then there's "She flipped her hair Pantene style." What were you thinking?

Sooo good! I like the twist that she can no longer love because she broke to perfict love dream. That in order to not become a cold hearted person, she will have to lean to love though.... very good! The smut is good to!
