Brilliant work! The plot is once again moving along, and Alex got to show that he has quite the devious streak in him. Although I'm already dreading what'll happen once they get caught, it's a brilliant twist, and a very plausible one as well. It definitely brought to mind some of the memorable scenes from the second movie. The chemistry between the characters is wonderful and the dialogue, as well as inner monolgues, is very fitting and extremely entertaining.
I can't wait for the next chapter, as this one is easily qualified as a full-on teaser, in a good way.

Update ASAP!! Yhis was one of 'em cool build up chappies wasn't it?? You know, designed to make the reader want more? Well... It bloody well worked!!! I am now tense as a bow, waiting for the next chappie!! Huggles to the marvelous author^_^ *glomps*

Another good chapter, I'm really looking forward to seeing temple of Sekmet. From Ardeth's dreams it seems like a very interesting place and knowing Alex's curiosity I bet he will enjoy it. Keep up the great work!

I'm not usually one to read sequels, because quite often the quality isn't anywhere near as good as that of the original one, but so far this story is brilliant. I read The Mirror of Osiris and absolutely fell in love with it. Your writing style is brilliant, and the fact how well you did your research (and used your imagination when necessary) simply amazes me. It's extremely delightful for those of us who know more about Egypt than what the movies and Yugioh have taught... Your knowledge creates a very believable and tempting ambience to the story, sating the reader's hunger for adventure as well as steamy male romance. I'm extremely fond your characterizations and the way you've kept them convincing while adding depth to each. My only complaint is that so far Alex seems very underrated; we all know he's a bright kid so all this sneaking around really feels like the guys are trying to fool themselves more than him.
This story is great and I'll be eagerly waiting for the next chapter.

I read the prequel to this fic first and truly enjoyed it. This one has started out just as good. I can't wait to see how everything plays out between Ardeth and the Med-Jai. Keep up the great work and hope to see more soon!
