I love the hellhounds, (though i'm curious about what Rage things about Vaako) And poor Vaako, hes so ... out of league in such a cute way - i loved that line about how Vaako never thinks about himself and so is astonished when someone *else* does. His commanders know him. Ah, i just want to snuggle him he so adorably clueless.
I can't wait for more (and its so cute that he wants to send Protega with Vaako to keep him safe awwww)!

damn, i am so sick of fics were vaako is secretly furrien. dont you think he mighy be from another violent race. or hell, maybe he was just the odd ball in a peaceful one. or maybe they were average and its vaako with the talent, not his bloodline.

You're right! There isn't enough Vaako/Riddick stories out there! Thanks for contributing such an interesting addition to the small group! I'm very much looking forward to additional chapters and like how quickly you are updating. It keeps the flow of the story going.

Oh, oh, oh, and it just keeps getting better! This whole chapter was just excellent, from Vaako showing off his brains to Vaako showing off his brawn to Riddick wandering around hoping someone would be stupid enough to challenge him. Loved the idea of the servant, and the continuing complexities of their society tickle me more than I can say, and... well, you know. The *end*. Right Hand! High Consort! Pushy/sexy Riddick! Oh, life is good.

It's brilliant! One of the best stories I've ever read. Slow development of the relationship, smug Riddick and disoriented around the new leader Vaako - really good. And that irritating inner voice which Riddick seems to read is really sweat! I cannot wait until the next chapters.
