This is amazing! I read the end justify the means first before this and i was so hooked! I am so glad someone recommend this on tumblr. I was excatly looking with this kind of concept. Dark anidala/vaderdala, i always wanted to read where anakin is possessive, obsessive and controling since i believe these were the traits that he somewhat possess in the canon especially when he become vader the pursuit of chasing the woman that wore the face of his wife, he refuses to see that it was not padme wanted to live in a darkness with him, he search for any means to bring her back to life, maybe out of love or simply he wanted her to be with his side because she belongs to him. And unable to let her go. I love it! Thank you author! I love all those spicy scenes and DOMINANT ANAKIN Like ugh yes. Anakin has always wanted to control being a slave when he was a kid and then having to follow orders so he always find any means to break it, then submissive padme releasing any control when its about anakin, because she can be just padme, not amidala whos always in control of herself to post a strong picture to anyone. Its what i love about it now im even more intrugued what will happen next when padme escapes him.  VADERDALA angst angstt. Honestly i enjoy this so much that i dont even mind its in the first pov lmao

Very well-written. I like the way you snuck behind the scenes of the movies to set the action of this story, just as the narrative could easily have been going on behind the eyes and faces of Padme and Anakin. I'm not normally a fan of Vader-as-Anakin stories (I prefer Vader as Vader) but this story was so well-done that once I started I couldn't quite stop.

Well-plotted, and the buildup was nice -- I like the fact that you took the time to delve into your POV character, without resisting the urge to either tell without showing and rush through the story, or to build up so long that you get lost in the buildup and don't go anywhere. I did find some spelling errors, relatively minor but some were recurring (e.g. conscience for either consciousness or conscience). Other than that, this story comes across as pretty well-polished.

Wow. That was an amazing story. You did an amazing job with these characters. I normally don't read star wars fanfic but I stumbled across this and I just have to say, it's one of the best fics I've ever read. The characters were so well written. You really felt for Padme. Anyways, I'm off to read the sequel. Just wanted to tell you what a great job you did with this! Keep up the great work!

I have read this story elsewhere and absolutely love it. I maintain that Anakin was inherently predisposed toward the Dark all along, even before the incident with the Sand People, due to his passion and intensity. I have always felt that he had a very dominate personality. (And in the movie AotC, I personally felt he was just a little too polite in the fireplace scene! No way he would let Padme off that easy!) I like that Pagan is not afraid to explore this aspect of Anakin, and boldly go where the movies didn't dare!

Excellent! Although it is really hard to see Anakin being so cruel & so controlling to Padme', the woman he loves, after seeing ROTS. I would say it is probably an incredibly accurate portrayal of the person he was. The author is a very talented writer & it's a shame this isn't a book you can buy at the bookstore, because I would definately buy it!

This was utterly riveted.

You are truly gifted as a writer. You aptly portrayed this incredible, dysfunctional, abusive, intensely passionate relationship with the kind of feeling and detail that enabled me to be sucked into it, despite my desperately not wanting to.

Man. Crazy.

Every step of the way, I was torn between thinking, "No, Padme, don't be a puss, fight!" and "Oh, Anakin, you need the Padme to be saved!"

O, tragedy!

Goddamn, this was great. Really, really, really great. As much as I would have loved for her to be able to redeem him, you kept it real. The narrative is as unflinching as it is mesmerizing, and ultimately, the consequences for the way Anakin and Padme's "love story" played out inevitably came to pass.

O, sadness!

A job truly well done. Excellent work.

Congratulations for writing such an interesting fic. I had the sense while reading it that this is the way things actually COULD have been. You blended canon and your creation very smoothly. I thought the smut was really good; not overdone, but intense and believeable.

I rarely review fanfiction (as I rarely have nice things to say), but your story really stands out. I'll definitely check out your other work. I truly appreciate that you respect your readers and take the time to polish your creative efforts. Your spelling, grammar, and word usage are correct, allowing the reader to get lost in the story.

Well Done!
