Yay, death to Cach and Burns (and the other guys too). I hope Vek can get Cass back before Al does something. I hope Vek gives him a lecture about touching what is his before he dispatches him.

Ah, I am so very pleased that you have returned (hopefully in better spirits) to continue your fine story. I am so enjoying how you are building things up for what should be quite the entertaining confrontation ahead. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how all of this plays out indeed. :)

Wow...I wonder what will happen at the confrontation. I have a feeling SOMEONE is going to die. Just hope it won't be one of our beloved characters. I mean, your beloved characters lol. :)
I've probably already told you this, but you have an amazing skill for writing. I love the little steps that gradually increase the bond between Cass and Vek...I honestly expected them to be fucking by now but the sex scene will be even more hot because we've been waiting so long for it. Not that it's a bad thing. This isn't a PWP, thank God. I couldn't imagine a writer like you wasting your talents.
Anyway, it's not a bad thing that their bonding accurs gradually. It's very realistic. I mean, Vek is an alien and in chapter 16 I believe ,he finally showed her his face. So of course they're not going to get down and dirty after a paragraph or something. Cass experienced emotional trauma and the fact that Vek was there to support her means that they'll eventually find love, [if that happens], it won't just be a one night stand. That's very important for me. A good story like yours gives time for character development, plot development, relationships and such. Just wanted to congratulate you on that. You win definitely win points in my book. :)
Again, I'm so sorry for your loss. You can't be superwoman and have the motivation to write while you're depressed. I completely understand. I go months without even looking at my book because I have no motivation to write. If this was a crappy story I would have abandoned it by now, with all of the long periods of waiting. But what writer doesn't experience writers block/depression? That's ABNORMAL. Lol.
Gah. I either write too little in a review or too much. I'm practically writing my own story here hah.

This chapter made it worth the wait. You never disappoint me with any chapter you write. I may not get to read them all when you post but I read them ,and let me tell you I am glad you continued to write, you are so good at it.

Finally! I really like the interaction between your two hunters. I found Vek'rin'ka making armor for Cass and his twinge of sorrow at Sonya's death especially touching. The hunt itself is shaping up to be a real showdown with all the major players heading for the same place. Please don't wait so long to post next time!!!

As happy as I am to see that you have updated...I do have to say that I feel your loss. I am a vet tech, so I know what you have just been through. It is very hard to think of anything else while something like that is happening. My heart goes out to you and your family. :)
