It was an interesting story. I thought you could have given the characters more personality. Especially the ones you made up. I think it would be better if you took the time to show daily life and endear the new character not only to the rest of the tribe but the readers as well. It would help the drama of her kidnapping as well. show more of her thoughts and feelings towards whats going on around her not just what shes doing.

Just wanted to tell you what a great job you have done with the 4 chapters you have written. It's been a while since you posted and I hope that you will continue. You've written the interaction between Jemima and Ardeth just beautifully. I have to confess that 'Jemima' maskes me think of pancakes a little, but I think that 'Little Dove' is totally sweet nick name. Excellent work!

It's great to see a new (read: new well written) Mummy story here and even more because it's Ardeth/f which is my first choice when it comes to Mummy stories :D I liked this and I'm looking forward to next chapter(s) :) Oh and I'm really glad you're using Lock-Nah, I thought he was a lot more interesting and scarier than Imhotep and there's not a lot of fics around that feature him.

(In case you saw my first review, I deleted it because of too many typos; the input box has so tiny font size that I couldn't really see what I'd written. Had to write this in OpenOffice instead.)
