I got a chance to rush over and review this chapter. It was, was...magnificant! I can't believe you wrote that swordplay so well. The action was amazing and I had a clear image in my mind of what they were doing. Each and every part. Don't mean to gush, but you continue to surprise me with your writing skills and to coax my inner PotC fangirl out to a frightening degree.
The teasing (on Jack's part) and his kiss were amazing as well. So many lines I could mention. God the sexual tension!!!! I can't decide which I enjoyed more, the witty comments or the titilation. Off to read the next.

That was just too much for little ole me. I may have to curl up in a ball and cry. I'm so worried Jack will do the wrong thing. Will he kill her? Can't he forgive her? That last scene where he was resigned to his fate was delicious and sad at the same time. I also enjoyed hearing a little bit from Elizabeth there, how she was reacting to Jack. What amazes me is that each time they kiss and come together physically, it's more exciting than the last. *sigh* I'm both dreading and very, very excited about the next chapter. ARG! Those last couple of chapters were so satisfying, yet so very frustrating... Fantastic writing. Love all the fighting and blood and kissing. And you do Jack so well. More now please!

I love the story, but I gotta tell you...Elizabeth is a serious bitch.
