This fic is really good. I like the slow building of the relationship between Anakin and Obi-wan, whose reactions are great. I loved Yoda's line about his ears, too. It makes me sad that Obi-wan never became an apprentice, but on the other hand, I like that it gives a different perspective on how they came together. I found this story during a search for something else, but I was wondering if you had an email list for updates since I don't really check this site often.

I have to admit I was hesitant to read your story at first because the wording in the summary sounded like Anakin and Obi-wan would be Phantom Menace age aka too high a squick factor. However, while this story does have its squicky moments, they are realistic and necessary to the plot. Your portrayal of what the characters might've been like in different circumstances is touching and tragic- as though the galaxy could've been a better place overall (Palpatine dead, Dooku still good etc.) with the sacrifice of Anakin and Obi-wan's lives. On a lighter note you've written the best Yoda line I've read in a fanfiction, "Hear you, I can. Not for decoration, these ears are.”

Awwww Obi is soo confused ^_^ I love Yoda and really look forward to reading more. This is one of my favorite plot lines and I can't wait until Ani and Odi get together!

This story is really great. I love the plot. It's very different to anything else. I wonder what's going to happen with Yoda? Please update soon!

oh, finally, there's more!!!! I started reading this in the hope of seeing plenty of smut... but you write so wonderfully that I haven't even noticed the lack! I can't wait to see Anakin's reaction to Yoda, or Obi-wan's. I'm actually bouncing in my seat anticipating the next chapter Please, write more and faster :)

so, i hope for an update soon, but seeing how semester's starting up in a few days, that's not too likely. instead, let's say this: i hope you do well with the schoolwork, remember to relax every now and then, and, of course, stay sane! cause school has a tendency to not help on that front. =]

Absolutely lovely. I appreciate your comments on real life. I have the same problem with my readers and their lack of understanding about real life obligations and time constraints. It's bloody annoying. University degrees won't deliver themselves while we sit around and write fanfiction. Wouldn't it be nice if they did though? Your story is lovely. I'm enjoying the alternate route and your characterization. I'll bookmark it and come back next summer to see if you've made any progress. Best of luck with classes. Cheers!
