(Laughs). Oh, ye gods! I've been waiting, actually WAITING for one of these to come out ever since I saw DMC for the first time. I am so glad that I wasn't the only one who saw that movie and almost instantly thought "tentacle sex!!!" (My mind has a tendency to reside in the sewer, only looking up at the much cleaner environs of the gutter. There's absolutely no shame in living in a world fueled by smut.) I love the title as well. I actually whispered "giant sushi!" to one of my friends in the theatre the other night when the Kraken showed up. As for your thinking your writing lacks something, it really doesn't, your work is quite well written. This was as much a delight to my pervoid mind as when Jack actually said something that I'd been thinking through the whole movie when he called Jones "fish face". Well done, bravo.

Oh, your formatting near gave me a headache, but I really like the story. (And your art; you sure weren't kidding when you said it was good.)And I totally sympathize with a mind that runs on smut. ;)

Heh, tentacle sex! Nice one there, poor Jack, but kind of pervy-sexy at the same time.

As for the last bit with the note, I think Jack can read. He read a section of the pardon aloud to Elizabeth during DMC.
