Okay, I felt the need to comment again. I hate heat and sunlight(redhead) and am currently sitting in my subterranean lair(basement) and yet your descriptions of how it would feel to be on a ship in Caribbean were vivid enough that I started to feel hot and nauseated while reading. Your story was a interesting and entertaining dose of the realities of life on a ship at the time. Again, very well done!

This was ... so awesome. I laughed SO hard.
