Very wonderful story. I must admit I had some trouble in the beginning with some of the changing viewpoints and a "jumpy" style, but it either got better or I got used to it for the sake of continuing. I am very pleased with how this turned out... it was very believable and well put together. Bravo!

This has to be an amazing story beginning to end. Plenty of suspense, intrigue, action and more action. Very well thought out and executed. Though I would have liked to have known more of Jenna before the meeting, just to see the little evolution she had just by building the ships, it's an interesting take on characters and their evolution.

All I can say is "Well done." What a fantastic story for Riddick. This one didn't disappoint at all. I really enjoyed reading it.

This is the first Pitch Black fic I have read and I really liked it. You did a great job

I came across 'Mother Lode'yesterday, and by the second chapter, I knew I would be neglecting everything else until I finished reading it. By the fifth chapter, I knew that this was a story I would print out and bind into a book. (Since I discovered fan fiction some years ago, I took up the art of bookbinding so I could take my favorite stories with me.)

Abraxis, your take on Riddick's personality is perfect, and your original characters are interesting as well. The pace and the continuing mystery are captivating, keeping the reader drawn into the acton.Excellent work! I look forward to seeing more of your stories.

This was the BEST story of the 'Pitch Black' movie I have ever read. Thank you so much for writing it. I hope to find more of your writing on aff.
