I'm trying to place the fairytale, and I can't. It reminds me of something out of one of the Colored Fairy books (for some reason I'm thinking the Red Fairy book). The acorn thing is what's getting me. >.< It sounds SO familiar, but I read so many fairytales as a kid and it's been so long I can't pin it. I thought it was 'Kari Wooden-Gown', 'Moss-Gown' or 'The Wonderful Birch', but it's not. *head explody*

Wah, what a wonderfully delicious fanfic! It's so rare to come across really well-written fanfics, so when I do I treasure them. Hope to see more updates, but I know how hectic weddings and life can be. Best of luck with the insanity coming your way. ;)

Oh I'm so so happy you've returned. Another thrilling chapter to add to your story. I can perfectly understand that real life tramples muses, and having planned my own wedding I can only say good luck and remember to catch your sleep where you can. Will you make Jareth suffer through all three balls like the original tale I wonder? Should be most interesting to see what he says to fair princess when next they meet about her fleet of foot.
