Alright so I know I am INCREDIBLY late to the game on this one but I've recently been ...infatuated? with Jack/Elizabeth fiction and I stumbled across Silk. I absolutely love it and am curious to see if there is a finished version anywhere that I can continue reading....? If not I completely understand because it has been years, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask though. On that note, thank you for writing such a tremendous work :)

Oh My.. It's beautiful! Mmmm.. The whole story is amazing. And chapter 8 was magnificent. Good work-you had very well described their feelings and they are still in character! The part where she thought he doesn't love her-heart breaking! I can't wait to find out what is Jack going contrive whit the pearls and the silk. Oh, and what abote the EX-fiance... What's his plan going to be like? There was a chappie at the end of it you said there was too much 'what they think'-if you ask me it was super! I like it when I know what they think, so don't worry ;) And the way Jack is Feeling-touching! And the way he treated her and described his feelings to her by Davy and Tia... Marvellous!!! Next chapler please soon!

magnificent! I read it all at one go and was utterly captivated. Beautifully written, insightful and mature. No, this isn't "mushy" love. It's pirate love and probably very close to the mark.

Well, I finally got around to finishing reading your 3rd story. I was disappointed to find that it wasn't completed yet. I look forward to an update soon. As for the story itself, this was the hottest piece of fanfic that I've ever read. It certainly lives up to the promise you created with the first 2 fics. It starts out sexy with Jack's "silk and pearls" and "wet" comments to Lizzie and keeps going from there. I could have done without the attempted seduction of Will scene, but I realize that it had to be there as the way to push Lizzie to take that last step away from him and to Jack. I LOVE all the verbal sparring with Lizzie and Jack; It's why I favor the pairing in the first place, but I don't like it when it turns nasty like it did here. I could have done without that too. I'm glad that you had Jack apologize to her. I also LOVE how he took his bloody sweet time with their first night together especially his teasing as he suckled her sex, and then, later how, he forced her to trust him by restraining her hands. It was sort of a nice payback for her shackling him to the mast too (snicker). The moment when he actually takes her is wonderfully written too especially the fact you actually let her experience a lot of pain. Most writers sugar coat that part. I also like his concern for her during that moment and how he pulls out before he has the chance of impregnating her. The latter is unheard of in fics, and I think it lends a unique quality to yours. I like Jack's fear that she will regret it the next morning as well as his washing her of the blood from the night's activities. I like how Lizzie at first doesn't regret it, but I knew that couldn't last. Blast the lady's indecision, and I didn't care for Jack turning nasty again either. You fixed it all in the last updated chapter though. I'm glad that Jack apologized again, but I rather he just not say nasty things to begin with (hint hint). I LOVE his admission to Lizzie to not "lie, cheat, or leave". Seriously, what else can she want? All women can expect from men are for them to be honest, faithful, and to stay put. Anything else is nonsense. And anything less is unacceptable. And if Lizzie had turned him down after that, I'd wanted to throttle her. I do like how she has Jack running scared, and your reference to Greek mythology as a way to explain Lizzie's mood swings was wonderful. The "row a day" rant from her was good too and accurate. I'm glad that they have finally reached an understanding (Please, let all of the trouble come from otside forces now...like whatever Will is planning...not Jack and Lizzie turning nasty again). My poor frayed nerves can't take much more of that. As I said at the beginning of this review, I look forward to an update soon.

awww i really liked this chapter, you handled it very well. The dialogue between elizabeth and jack were beautiful and full of the right kind of tention. This was very touching and well written. you should be proud :-) i love your story so far!! and i hope will doesn't do anything..............stupid. haha. please update ssssooon!!!
