I've read both of these stories and they are great. I'll review each of them separately. I like how you have expanded on the "facts" that have come out about Jack's past all while incorpating Oria into the stories. You did a good job of not presenting the Jack we have today, but a Jack who is "naive" enough to be the victim of a mutiny.

Oria is a likeable enough character, and I applaud the fact that you managed to avoid making her a Mary-Sue. She is a very complex, and fleshed-out character who has managed to keep my interest. My only quibble is pretty minor...I've always liked the idea of Jack becoming "Jack" along the way and that each of his accoutrements meant something to him. It was a little disappointing to see Oria add his bandana and beads during a makeover along with fake stories for each. However, I really liked seeing how he sacked Nassau without a shot. I can't wait to see the continuation of this story.....
