Okay, now it begins to make sense. Who would have guessed it was a reason revolving around a land battle? Let's hope Aubrey and Kal can get to Sam fast. Really loving the story. :)

Great chapter jemstone. I can imagine one of Mrs Reynold's team picking up the map Aubrey dropped, I hope not cause it would have been good to see all the Reynold's and the Feathers dirty laundry exposed.

Then again I want Kal to get Aubrey and Sam away, and a away quickly. Whatever you write I know it'll be great anyway.

Another wonderful chapter. So, we finally are finding out just what the grandparents are after. I'm definitely getting more and more curious as to how this will tie in to the end of River Rapids where Kal was telling Tan'ock that he needed help completing the ceremony.

And as much as Kal needs to get Aubrey and Sam out of there as quickly as he can, I kind of hope that the grandparents will find out about him too so that they'll be in quite a bit of shock. :)

Update Please! I love this story, it mustn't end. And don't be concerned with the stars, pretty much every author here has not gone unscathed.

Wow, Aubrey's just having more and more trouble. At least she has Kal to watch over her and Sam. If I had parents like hers, I wouldn't dare leave my child with them. Wanting to take Sam to Germany during the school term for "broadening his education". Riiiiight, and the queen of England is a janitor. Still going strong, girl, keep it up, and looking forward to more.

I hope Walker finds out why the grandparents want Sam now. I hope Kal can get them away from the planet before the shit hits the fan.

Yay, a (late) Christmas update from jemstone! :)

Hmm, I wish more people would review this story, or at least, I hope they're leaving feedback through some other means, I'd hate for the author to get depressed with no feedback and abandon writing (it's happened to many former favorite authors of mine), especially when the story isn't finished yet! :)

I absolutely love the interactions with all the characters, especially at the begining of the court scene where we get those bastard in-laws making trouble (brought the judge maybe?). Now I too am curious as to why everyone wants Sam now, when they couldn't care less of him before. And of course, I hope Kal kills some more people too. And Walker just HAS to do a roundhouse kick, I mean, it is freaking Chuck Norris after all! :)

Man, Aubrey's parents never gave her a break. They're being such jerks to her trying to take her son away and the grandfather is as bad as them. Don't get me started on the townsfolk who are such dim bulbs, especially that idiot lawyer.

Okay, I'm off the soapbox and done ranting. At least Kal got a kill. Hope he gets to hunt more of the ignoramuses that are trying to make Aubrey's life worse.

Please continue writing and don't get a block!
